Health, healing and fitness have always been a passion in my life. As a paramedic in Colorado and a triathlete in my 20's I can honestly say I was a true adrenaline junky. I started taking yoga class sporadically as a way to improve my performance and aid recovery after sustaining hip and back injuries. At the time, yoga was a tool and not a way of life. In 2013 I moved to the Island of Dominica, it changed my life. I was introduced to yoga all over again and fell in love. The sea, mountains and yoga brought with it a healing from within and a peace I did not even realize existed... or I needed! Mind, body and spirit.

After returning stateside to Atlanta, I received my RYT 200 teacher training certificate in 2016 under Becky Nickerson and have incorporated yoga as a way of life. I have spent the bulk of my teaching in the Atlanta area at Sweet Tea yoga and have taught at Crossfit gyms and locally in Palm City. I teach a hot dynamic breath to movement power vinyasa flow with creative transitions and a focus on strength, mobility and yogic philosophy. Prepare to sweat and be challenged!

Outside of the studio, I am a mother of 5, and avid nature enthusiast. Lover of the sun, hiking, diving, paddle boarding, camping... all things outdoors and Latin dance.

Russell Singson NREMT-P

Owner Co-Founder of BLU PY

A South Florida native, lifelong athlete, and co-founder of Blue Power Yoga. With a background as a firefighter paramedic and professional diver, he brings a calm, safety-first presence and strong leadership into every space he’s part of.

His passion for movement has taken many forms over the years—from breakdancing and Latin dance to skateboarding—and has more recently evolved into a dedicated yoga practice. Focused on strength, mobility and connection he has dove into a robust Ashtanga practice.

A father of four, Russell is deeply connected to the coastal lifestyle. When he’s not teaching or training, you’ll likely find him in the water—diving, fishing, or creating—drawn to the same sense of flow and freedom he brings to the mat.
